MTSS-K Researcher Marta Pellegrini Receives SREE Early Career Award
Dr. Marta Pellegrini, researcher in the MTSS-K project and Associate Professor at the University of Cagliari, has been awarded the 2025 Early Career Award by the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE).
The award honours outstanding early-career scholars who have made significant contributions to educational research and practice. Pellegrini was recognised for her work on evidence syntheses of school-based interventions, including meta-analyses on reading and elementary math programs published in AERA Open and Reading Research Quarterly.
In addition to her academic work, Pellegrini plays an active role in bridging research and practice – helping to develop platforms such as Evidence for ESSA and building a similar evidence-based platform in Italy.
Her contributions support MTSS-K’s mission to enhance educational outcomes by using evidence-based methods and developing effective interventions. The award will be presented at the upcoming SREE Annual Conference. The MTSS-K team congratulates Dr. Pellegrini on this well-deserved recognition.
