MTSS-K Partners Met for the First Progress Meeting in Rostock, Germany
From 19 to 21 May 2025, the MTSS-K consortium came together in person for the first progress meeting at the University of Rostock. The three-day project meeting brought all partners around the same table to share updates, exchange ideas, and plan the next steps of the project.
The meeting focused on collaboration across work packages, with partners presenting early findings, reflecting on challenges, and coordinating efforts for the upcoming educational study in schools. A key topic was the ongoing recruitment and training of teachers who will be involved in testing the MTSS approach in real classroom settings. Throughout the meeting, discussions were constructive and collaborative, allowing partners to align on key priorities.
At its core, the project aims to examine how the MTSS model can better support young children facing learning and behavioural difficulties – and ultimately help promote greater equity in early childhood education. Partners concluded the meeting with a renewed sense of focus and enthusiasm, ready to advance the project’s next steps together.
